Due to the very large size of such machinery, the cost of their purchase (especially the cost of engines) is enormous, so it is worth ensuring their fire safety, especially since they can operate in extremely harsh conditions.

Telesto offers fire suppression systems for such vehicles based on the technology of generating foam mist from a foam extinguishing agent. Telesto’s fire protection systems can be installed both inside the vehicle cabin and on its external elements, particularly in the vicinity of the engine.

Telesto’s fire protection systems can detect fires automatically, thanks to pneumatic detection tubes that can be placed anywhere in the vehicle and can signal the activation of the fire protection system within a specified temperature range. The system can also be manually activated by the machine operator.
